<\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure><\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/div><\/figure>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\nCity Garden Grand Hotel<\/strong> is just minutes away from Rockwell, Ayala Triangle and Bonifacio Global City wherein most of the happenings are.<\/p>\n I stayed at room 2308 for a night, one of City Garden Grand Hotel’s Deluxe King Rooms (10th to 29th floor). It is a 32-sqm room with a city view of some part of Makati CBD.<\/p>\n The Deluxe King Room is spacious enough for anyone or any two travelers together to dwell for a night or more. (2 adults + 2 children max)<\/p>\n It has a nice and very comfortable king size bed adorned with a 500-thread-count duvet for that extra snug feel that you wouldn’t want to get out of bed once you’re tucked in. Seriously, made me woke up late the next morning. Lol.<\/p>\n The room has an LED TV, mini-bar, refrigerator, coffee and tea, closet, safe, hair dryer, hot and cold shower and bathtub.<\/p>\n The City Garden Grand Hotel Deluxe King room is at Php 4,419.64<\/strong> (as of December 2016) or around USD 88<\/strong> per night.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n If you’re bringing a car, City Garden Grand Hotel has a free valet service you can avail of. This is the best option as it would save you time and effort. As for me, I wanted to park it for myself to make use of the experience on my blog.<\/p>\n The parking area is quite narrow, so it can take time to maneuver for guests to park. So it is more practical to have a valet park your car for you. Take note that valet service is available 24 hours daily.<\/p>\n Service to and from the airport can be arranged as well.<\/p>\n Upon entry in the lobby, there are cold refreshments for any guests while waiting to be served in the concierge.<\/p>\n City Garden Grand Hotel has a roofdeck pool at the 32nd floor, with a nice view of Makati skyline. The roofdeck pool is open from 6am to 10pm daily. The pool is alongside the Firefly Roofdeck Bar that is open for ala carte orders while swimming, from 9am to 5pm.<\/p>\n The pool has a jacuzzi on one side that makes it more relaxing for anyone taking a dip.<\/p>\n The Firefly Roofdeck Bar is one of the known attractions of City Garden Grand Hotel for hotel guests and other visitors wanting to have a good time.<\/p>\n That’s why come dinner time,\u00a0 I went up to the roof deck to try the Mongolian Buffet (Php 799 per head) offered at the Firefly Roofdeck Bar this whole December.<\/p>\n The alfresco feel of the Firefly Roofdeck Bar makes a big difference, combined with its overlooking view of the Makati CBD and of course the sumptuous meal. I liked the Mongolian buffet offering, specially, what Chef Jun Lazo prepared as main courses of the night, the Miso Honey Chicken and Yakibuta.<\/p>\n Anyone wanting a unwind on a place with good food, nice view, great ambience and a wide selection of drinks, then, this part of Makati where you’d like to be.<\/p>\n There is also a well-equipped gym for hotel guests to use for free. The gym is also open from 6am to 10pm daily. Too bad, I was doing a lot of things, and woke up late the next day, I wasn’t able to workout anymore.<\/p>\n A spa area is available for hotel guests from 8am to 10pm. But a 24-hour room service is also available upon request.<\/p>\n For breakfast, I headed to Spice Cafe for buffet. There are a number of selections to choose from for breakfast, from salads, cereals, meats, vegetables, and different types of dishes (Continental, Filipino, Asian).<\/p>\n I enjoyed my dinner more than the breakfast, probably, my fault mostly, as I came in late for the morning eating.
