There are things that people like me who grew up in city life would always want to experience – life living in a country life.

And experiences like staying at Alomah’s Place gives some kind of literally and figuratively “fresh” air for people like me from the city.

Alomah’s Place in Dahilayan, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon offers an “all-star” accommodation. Because they let you experience sleeping under the stars, literally, with their camping tents right at the center of the greenery.

At Php 500.00 per night that can accommodate 2 persons, each tent can be a cool way to experience the outdoors differently.

Honestly, that would have been really great, but, during our stay, the rain was too hard, so it was not advisable to stay outside. Rather, we stayed at “Tent Floor” on the second floor of the Octagon House. Still an experience though. ;-)

The Tent Floor is two-storey building made of wood that has videoke, kitchen and a big dining area for groups.

Alomah is a combination of the names of owners’ surname – Grace Alombro and Benjohn Mahistrado, offer a different kind of outdoor experience: less of the city life and more of the country life enjoying animals, organic vegetation and fresh air and a lot of natural light.

An early morning trek in the planting areas of the two-hectare lot is a nice way to kick-start the day before having breakfast.

With a great view of the sunrise, graciously lighting the vegetation area abundant with organic high-value crops like lettuce, bell pepper, upland vegetables.
