Team Liquid Echo PH, Falcons AP.Bren Sweep Series Versus Opponents

Dominant wins!

Team Liquid Echo Philippines and Falcons AP.Bren took their business on the semis seriously, as they beat their opponents – RSG Philippines and Blacklist International, respectively, in a “sweeping” fashion, 3-0.

With the wins, both Team Liquid Echo Philippines and Falcons AP.Bren will meet each other tomorrow on the winners’ bracket series. Winner from the series will automatically qualify to the MSC 2024 Philippine representative and secure the spot on the Grand Finals.

While the losing team will have to wait for the winner of the match between RSG Philippines and Blacklist International.

During the interview, Team Liquid Echo Philippines’ Karltzy said the Team Liquid’s bosses talked to the team that gave them extra motivation. They were reminded of Team Liquid’s mantra, ‘Winning is everything.'”

Sanji, BennyQT and Karltzy were awarded the MVP of the three games.

The 2022 MSC Champions were not getting any big breaks on the series. RSG Philippines found themselves almost always steps behind Team Liquid Echo’s moves.

As for the second series, between Falcons AP-Bren imposed their will on Blacklist International.

Even Blacklist International’s team co-owner Tryke Gutierez said on his Facebook post:

“We fought against a better team today…
Malinaw na mas malakas ang Bren kanina..
They outplayed us, outstrategized us and obviously they were more confident than we were in the end.

Falcons AP-Bren dominated on the three games and never showed any sign of weaknesses. Blacklist’s winning momentum seems immaterial as the team almost showed lack of surprise strategies or techniques that could put the Falcons AP-Bren in any uncomfortable situation.

Tomorrow, Blacklist International and RSG Philippines will play on a do-or-die match and seek another shot making to the finals.
