Targus®, the global leader in laptop bags and mobile tech accessories, just introduced PENGO the Penguin, the very first character in their new Limited-Edition Plush Collection—and I was lucky enough to be at the launch event held at The Travel Club +, EDSA Shangri-La.
Attended by members of the media, lifestyle influencers, and Targus fans all came together to welcome PENGO—a collectible plush toy that represents resilience, adaptability, and the kind of companionship we all need. There were cute photo spots everywhere, good food, and of course, an exclusive first look at Targus plush campaign that’s rolling out from November to December 2025.
Here’s something exciting: for a limited time, when you purchase select Targus backpacks—like the Avila or the Work+Play collections—you’ll get your own PENGO plush toy for free. And this is just the first of four collectible characters! Targus will be releasing a new one every quarter, so collectors and Targus fans… prepare your shelves.

One of the highlights during the event was the “Cutest Selfie with PENGO” contest, where everyone tried to outdo each other with their most creative poses for a chance to win a special Targus gift box. Super fun!
