When is the best time to hone talents and skills?
As early as possible.
This is what FILSCAP, along with Pioneer Insurance, is giving college students who love songwriting a chance to start with at the #MoveOnLang Songwriting Competition.
UP Diliman had the first crack of the FILSCAP Campus Caravan that inspire the young songwriters to get the ideas flowing for the creativity.
Rico Blanco, the current FILSCAP president, was the first to share his experiences and insights about songwriting to numerous students who attended at UP. He recounted his steps, the challenges he went through, the inspirations he got, all for the love of writing his first songs.
Rico Blanco even shared some of his first compositions that gave the students the insights on his development from a neophyte composer to what he is now.
Next legs of the FILSCAP Campus Caravan will be at De La Salle University-Manila, San Beda College Alabang, UP Diliman, University of Santo Tomas and University of Makati, to name a few.
