A fantastic view of Taal Volcano, good food, exciting attractions, and a good boost to your intellect about the environment, there is only one place, Residence Inn.
Residence Inn is a zoo, theme park in Tagaytay City. It is one of the most visited places in the area.
The thrust of the place is the excitement, fun, with a twist of education about nature, that goes along with it.
Residence Inn houses a number of animals from different parts of the world. There are mammals, reptiles, insects, birds and a lot more. The place is rich in education about the animals, from basic to trivial facts about the species.
One can be surprised that there is a place where all these animals can be seen closer, in real life, than TV and Internet.
RESIDENCE INN ATTRACTIONS
Just upon entrance, you will surely be fascinated by a tiger waiting to greet you. Hehe.
First of the attractions are reptiles, fishes, and arthropods inside the Serpentanairum.
Kids and adults alike can be amazed of the collection of animals inside and the trivia you can know about them. There are even lots of fascinating creatures that weren’t caught on my camera, especially, the glowing scorpion in the dark.
After the Serpentarium, a large open hall for a short Residence Inn animal encounter. In brief, the show highlights the essence of saving the environment.
Different animals are showcased on stage with the audience having a chance to interact with the species. It is a great way to make people aware of the animals that are usually just seen on TV and Internet.
When asked for an adult couple, Cristelle, my fiance, and I volunteered. We were surprised to have Madagascar cockroaches on our hands.
After the show, the audience can have a short window to approach all the animals in the show. In our case, I, together with Cristelle and my son, Rendell, went straight to the reptile.
After the show, we went around other section of Residence Inn. I was surprised to see more animals inside like miniature horses, birds, donkey, sheeps, pigs, monkeys, ape, crocodiles and lions.
Residence Inn Cable car and Zipline
What’s good about Residence Inn is that it is not just a zoo, there are more things to it like the zipline and cable car adventure. If you’re up for a thrill, then this one is for you.
You get a good view of Taal Volcano from afar and an adrenaline rush for less than a minute ride.
I personally tried both with Cristelle.
And probably, you’ll get tired of the rides and tours, you can simply just dine at the Residence Inn cafe and unwind with the breathtaking view of Taal Volcano. Sadly, during the time we were there, it was cloudy.
There are souvenir items as well for you to take home as well.
Residence Inn is a nice place to unwind, have fun and bond with family and friends. If curious of the rates, here are the packages that you might be interested on.
