Travelling, by itself, is fun.

However, it can be really a burden if you have to think so much of how to carry things around. Best solutions that come to mind are either to bring a big luggage or to leave the other things behind. But what if, you need more?

I have been travelling for work and leisure. And, honestly, I do not like carrying and pulling big luggages. I have always wanted to carry most of my things with me.

As much as possible, I pack my stuff good for three to five days in a backpack. Usually, it’s bulky already with all the clothes, toiletries, towel and gadgets.

Not all backpacks are really that comfy, portable and, at the same time, fashionable. All the while, I thought that Flight 001 is just offering fancy-looking travel bags and luggages, that might be appealing to the eyes only, but in reality, are not travel-friendly.

But hey, I was wrong.  Good thing, the people who started Flight 001 Store, are experienced and frequent travellers and know the feeling of being such. After Brad John, one of the founders of Flight 001, demonstrated Spacepak system, I was SOLD. Right there and then, without Brad John even finishing his demo.

All I was thinking that time was “I have gotta have one of these!” Brad was able to pack clothes, 14 pieces for his top and 7 pants, suitable for his 14-day trip.

One good thing about Flight 001’s store is its cozy interior – giving you a feel of the insides of a plane. Designed after a 747 Jet fuselage, Flight 001’s Shangri-La Plaza outlet sports of its classy interior.

 This one-stop travel store was conceived in 1998 aboard Air France flight 023 somewhere between New York and Paris. John Sencion and Brad John, two business travellers who had spent far too much time preparing for their trip, envisioned a travel store as streamlined as flight itself. Luckily for travellers of every kind, their mid-air detour resulted in a jetsetter’s dream: an all inclusive, retro-modern retail experience that satisfies the frequent traveler’s every need.

 Flight 001 originated in New York and was conceptualized by frequent travellers brad John and John Sencion. Inspired by by Pan Am flight 1, the world’s first round-the-world flight, which made stops in Honolulu, Tokyo, Hong Kong, Bangkok, Calcutta, Delhi, Beirut, Istanbul, Frankfurt, London, and finally New York.
