About 3 hours of drive from Manila, Playa Laiya is located in San Juan, Batangas, in a stretch of exclusive seaside residential community, developed by Landco PacificCorporation. It is a leisure-tourism estate away from the hustle and bustle of urban lifestyle.
Playa Laiya is an ideal backdrop for the break that you would want to be at, to escape the busyness of metropolis. The crystal water, white beach, mountain view and a whole lot of selection of water adventure, food and relaxation, just waiting for you anytime.

What’s good about Playa Laiya is that you can always choose between the seawater for that good natural waves swinging your body.
Or simply relax at the infinity pool with a view of the beachfront.
Playa Laiya also has kiddie pools with bubblers and outdoor jacuzzi as additional delights for kids and kids-at-heart.
And if you like the water plus adventure, then you’d be loving the additional attractions that Playa Laiya at the beach like the Jet Ski, banana boat, parasailing, kayaking, flying fish and beach volleyball.
In my case, I had the chance to do banana boat and the flying fish that were absolute fun, specially the fly fish, where I “flew” out of the inflatable during a run. Hahaha! Wonderful experience indeed.

Laiya’s The Sands restaurant
With all the fun and activities, there will be plenty of room for good food. Playa Laiya has its own restaurant, The Sands, that offer ala carte and buffet meals for solo, family or even a group catering. So, you don’t have to worry about what to eat and just enjoy the place.
How to get there
Via Ibaan:
- Take South Luzon Expressway (SLEX) all the way to the end.
- Take the Lucena exit point proceeding Star Toll Way.
- From Star Toll Way, take the San Jose-lbaan Exit.
- After exiting, turn left and drive 2.5 kilometers.
- Turn left to Palindan Street then tyrn right at Lipa-lbaan Road.
- Drive past a Petron Station until you reach a junction. . Turn left where sign is pointing to Rosario.
- From Rosario town proper, drive past Jollibee to lead you to San Juan.
- From San Juan town proper, drive past Municipal Hall and take the next right turn for Laiya main road.
- Drive approximately 25 kilometers along the main road. Playa Laiya is the gateway of the Laiya beachfront.
Via Lipa:
- Take South Luzon Expressway and exit via Lucena leading you to the Star Toll Way.
- From Star Toll Way, take Lipa Exit and head eastward towards Lipa.
- At Lipa, head towards Padre Garcia (follow road signs carefully.
- Drive past De La Salle Lipa until you reach a junction.
- Follow the road as it merges and turn right to Kapitan Luz Street (a few meters away from the monument)
- Turn left at Kalipulako
- Turn right at P. Torres, this road leads to Rosario and Padre Garcia.
- About 8.5 kilometers from Lipa, there’s a junction leading to Padre Garcia. Turn left to
- Padre Garcia and drive past a market. Turn right to San Juan.
- From San Juan town proper, drive past Municipal Hall and take the next right turn for Laiya main road.
- You will drive approximately 25 kilometers along this road. Playa Laiya is the gateway of the Laiya beachfront.
Resort Schedule
- Open every day (except Mondays) from 8:00 am 6:00 pm
- Swimming pool is open from 8:00 am 6:00 pm
- Beach is open from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
Entrance Fee and other charges
- Rates during peak season for adults P700.00 (weekends) / P500.00 (weekdays). For the lean season, rate for weekends is P560.00 per person, while P400.00 on weekdays.
- Kids 3 10 yrs. old will get 50% off the adult rate and babies 02 yrs. old are free of charge.
- The entrance fee includes facilities use such as the swimming pools and the beach. Lockers are available with rental fee of
- P50.00/small andP150.00/big for the whole day. Bringing of food inside is allowed with a corkage fee of P100.00/person.

Things to Remember for Playa Laiya
- For non-residents of Playa Laiya, reservations is a MUST to avail of the use of the beach and facilities.
- Playa Laiya is closed every Monday.
- Playa Laiya does not accommodate overnight guests as there have no facilities yet for that. But soon, they will.
