If you’re thinking of a romantic date along Manila Bay or a trip to Corregidor, then you have to take note that these trips will all be available soon at the Esplanade Seaside Terminal near SM MOA.
Starting July 1, Sun Cruises, Prestige Cruises and Orient Craft will be taking their voyages from Esplanade Seaside Terminal. The area is the newest development to long stretch of commercial and business hubs along the Mall of Asia complex.
Looking at Esplanade Seaside Terminal from a commuter’s perspective, this is somewhat easier and probably safer way to travel going to Corregidor and cruising via Manila Bay compared before.
With MOA just close, commuting via MOA would be easier for people coming from any points of Metro Manila. Plus, with a big commercial and business backing from the SM Group, security will definitely escalate for the riding public’s safety.
At the same time, access to other recreational and shopping convenience is just a few steps away, while waiting for the scheduled trip.
While the Esplanade Seaside Terminal is initially having the Corregidor and Manila Bay Cruise trips, it is to be expected that other destinations will be catered in the future as ongoing talks are being made with sea carriers.
Also, the Philippine Ports Authority accredited the Esplanade Seaside Terminal to cater both domestic and foreign vessels.
As for passengers, it is good to note that the Esplanade Seaside Terminal has adequate area and secure facility for parking of vehicles.
So, if you’re thinking of having that trip to Corregidor or probably just a dinner while cruising Manila Bay, well, you can try it anytime soon via Esplanade Seaside Terminal. Plus, take note, there is an on board live music in some occasions.
In my experience, the Manila Bay cruise is worth it.
With an incomparable view of sunset via Manila Bay and good food on board, anyone is sure to have a good time, especially if you’re with a special someone.
While on board the MV Eagle Cruiser of Prestige Cruises’ maiden voyage for the media, I saw the more modern structures built within that stretch of Manila Bay. It looked as if I was not in Metro Manila for that moment and I was in a more progressive country, cruising.
Truly, a sign of times that country is indeed developing in a good way, in some areas. :-)
